What's New at the 2017 Fair?

The 2017 Fair will see several new street events and activities.

Anglia Ruskin University

This year, we are particularly pleased to welcome Anglia Ruskin University, who will host various activities. Access is via Petersfield, where there will also be a marquee, stalls and live music.

Mill Road Walking Tour in partnership with Mill
Road History Society. Discover the history of
Mill Road. When and why did Mill Road develop?
Who lived here? Where was the mill? Politicians,
founders of international organisations, sports
people, railway workers, academics and artisans
have all lived in the area with their families. Join
us to learn more. 9am start. Meet at the corner
of Mill Road and Cavendish Road at 8.50am. The
tour will finish at 10.30am at Ditchburn Place. £5
per adult including donation to Mill Road History
Society. Under-16s free. Guarantee your place by
emailing millroadguide@gmail.com or just turn
up on the day (but numbers are limited).

There will be a Mill Road Walking Tour in partnership with Mill Road History Society. Discover the history of Mill Road. When and why did Mill Road develop? Who lived here? Where was the mill? Tours of Mill Road Cemetery

In addition to their tours about the cemetery (12pm), and about local people and local stories (2pm), there will be a Pokéwalk tour at 1pm: history and wildlife behind the Pokéstops.
