Getting to Mill Road

By bus

The Citi 2 bus is diverted due to the road closure and does not run down Mill Road between 9.00am and 5.30pm. The nearest places to pick up the Citi 2 are on Perne Road near to the junction of Mill Road/Brookfields, on Coldhams Lane and on Parkside. The 114 service to Addenbrooke's runs as normal.

The guided bus services stop at the Railway Station, Regent Street and Parkside: See the timetables.

By bike

We like to encourage cycling but for safety reasons you are required to dismount and push your bike through the road closure area.

By car

There is parking nearby at the Grafton Centre, Queen Anne Terrace and at Clifton Way (Cambridge Leisure Park) but please be aware that traffic is likely to be congested on the day of the Fair.

There are also Park and Ride car parks on most approaches to the city. From Trumpington Road Park and Ride – Bus No 88 (Blue Route) stops at Emmanuel Street: See the timetable. From Newmarket Road Park and Ride – Bus No 77 (Red Route) stops at the Grafton Centre then St Andrews Street: See the timetable

By train

Mill Road is a 5-10 minute walk from the Railway Station.

Exit Cambridge station ticket hall and turn right. Walk past the bikes, past the transport police office and through the station car park towards the red footbridge. Follow the walkway left under the bridge to the road and turn right. Mill Road is at the end of Devonshire Road.
